The Big Red Barn at the Farm is a one of a kind barn venue for weddings and celebrations. The barn, built by local craftsmen in 1962, is nestled on a 150-acre picturesque farm in Erie, PA. The barn has two floors, with each floor encompassing more than 3,000 square feet.
With its dramatic cathedral-like ceiling, the Big Red Barn at the Farm provides rural splendor for your special day in an authentic country setting. LED lighting, encased in eighty handmade seashell globes, provides a romantic ambiance. Every wedding held here is unique, limited only by the creativity of the decorations you provide. The well-maintained meadows and ponds offer a naturally beautiful setting, perfect for your photos and, if you desire, an open-air wedding ceremony.

The Big Red Barn is the real deal, built for housing cattle and storing hay and grains. Today, it is an integral part of a private farming estate, utilized by the owners for their private celebrations and a limited number of weddings for brides and grooms seeking authenticity for their special day.

- Big Red Barn, Ground Floor – welcoming space for cocktails or staging for caterers
- Outdoor – Unique settings for wedding ceremony, with lawns and meadows for open-air receptions for that one-of-a-kind special day
Rental Fee Inclusions
- Use of the barn and the grounds for the wedding ceremony, reception and wedding photos.
- The rental fee allows the renter a 3-day access to the farm.
- Day 1 – for wedding preparation, set up and decorating (we encourage brides and grooms to be creative and make their special day unique)
- Day 2 – for last minute requirements and set-up changes, ceremony, and reception
- Day 3 – for clean up, returning the facilities used to their initial condition.
- Sturdy five-foot diameter round tables and chairs for up to 200 guests.
- Rectangle tables for head tables and serving.
- Use of the charming Nutmeg Cottage for bride and attendant preparation on her wedding day.
- Convenient on-site parking and parking attendants
Availability
The Big Red Barn at the Farm is available for a limited number of wedding events from late Spring to early Fall.
